As your Congresswoman, I will stand firm to enforce your rights under the 2nd Amendment. This will remain a priority to me during my tenure.

Leave our guns alone!! Enough said. I do not want to see the United States succumb to the current Administration's pursuit of a gun-free America. Responsible gun owners should not be penalized because of the irresponsibility and recklessness of others, nor should they be subject to punishment for the misconduct of a criminal.

We the people, must not allow the federal government to encroach on individual liberty with assurances of, “You won't lose your hunting rights, we're just regulating 'bad' guns, controlling 'bad' criminals, protecting your children, preventing crime, promoting safety, etc."Heed my warning, if we do not defend our constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms, the video you see at the bottom of this section will be the end result for America.

As an avid hunter, firearm, and archery sportswoman, I enjoy the outdoors and the rights I have to bear arms while providing food for our family. My husband and I rarely purchase meat, most often we hunt our family’s food. I love shooting clays, and I might add, I’m not too poor a shot. David instructs archery for the local 4-H program, helped found the 4-H shotgun program and I coordinate a Hunter’s Education Course in Freedom, IN, in conjunction with Sycamore Valley Gun Club, each year. In 2008, David received the prestigious IHEA educator of the year award.
