WE THE PEOPLE
Immigration
America is a beacon of liberty welcoming all who desire to come here under the rule of Republic law. I cannot blame anyone for wanting to come to America in order to better the life of their family. We should be thankful that America is such a great nation, that the rest of the world acknowledges and wants to come here to find life, liberty and happiness, but we need to remember that if we do not have control over our borders that we will not be a great nation for long. The rule of Law is indispensable and in order to avoid chaos and potential security disasters, we as a nation have not only a right, but a duty to know who resides within our borders.
Providing driver’s licenses and in-state tuition to illegal immigrant families will act as a magnet in drawing more people here in violation of the law and it will impose new costs on taxpayers. Laws of the land concerning immigration must be enforced. Current laws, if equally enforced against all illegal immigrants, will be a preventative strategy and will prevail to the reactive strategy of arresting illegal immigrants after they have committed a crime. In order to prevent the natural devastations that will arise from an overpopulated America, it is imperative that immigration laws be enforced across the board to drive all illegal immigrants out of the country.
I support the National Guard on the border and finishing The Wall. The Ming army held off the Manchus at the Great Wall of China , preventing the Manchus from entering the Chinese heartland. Likewise, the Army National Guard would hold off illegal immigrants at The Wall, preventing the immigrants from entering the American heartland.
Additionally, sanctuary cities, states, and businesses need to be held accountable for usurpation of immigration laws. I support fines for cities, states, and businesses embracing sanctuary status and incentives for cities, states, and businesses that enforce immigration laws and provide avenues for legal employment of American citizens.
