- Family is the fundamental building block of all human civilizations, and marriage is the foundation of the family. The institution of marriage is unquestionably good for individuals and society, and the health of our culture is intimately linked to the health and well-being of marriage. In my opinion, marriage is defined as the union of one man and one woman and I support the Defense of Marriage Act.
- Life begins at conception.
- Children are a blessing to our country and should have the opportunity to be raised in a nation without Fear, and where opportunities for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness abound.
As a wife and mother of four children, I understand the financial, social, physical, and psychological burdens of these trying times. We do not need invasive pressure and interference from the federal government in the privacy of our homes and lives.
